It’s really just a 30-minute journey, making it easy to get and go between the two of you. We covered quite a bit of land before returning to Park City in the late afternoon. Since we had time to kill for dinner, we stopped at the Park City Museum on Main Street.

You can be in a completely different place in less than two hours by car. It helps to get rid of that travel error that many of us have after a long winter. Grab a friend, a gas-filled tank, good music or an audiobook, some roadside snacks and go on one of my favorite day trips from Park City. There are many reasons to smile in Park City, whether you are a local visitor or for the first time in a long time. And while the list of restaurants, shops and activities that will carry their green backs is as high as Jupiter Peak, it’s sometimes fun to mix up some free attractions. Of course there is skiing and snowboarding, but that is only the beginning. There is gold under the snow on the hills: pure 24-carat activity gold. (And silver – Park City started out as a mining town. Don’t forget to thank the mountain for their generosity. Boulder Mountain Ranch in Deer Valley is an adventurous outdoor company that offers various activities. The ranch offers horse riding in two locations, including Sundance Resort and Deer Valley Resort. The center shows works by promising local artists, as well as national exhibitions related to history.

It is rare to find the quality of local restaurants and the diversity of cuisine in a city of this size. In June, a 1,500-seat table stretches along the historic main street off the Grande Table event of the Savor the Summit to create a wonderful evening of good food and live music with hundreds of your new best friends.

From breweries to art galleries and harvest festivals and other events, there are literally 25 things to do on 25th Street. If you’re short on time and just want to try O-town, a trip along the Ogden River path is a must. For something completely different, this 10,000-year-old geothermal hot spring is just half an hour’s drive from Park City. The source is hidden by a limestone dome, but a ground-level tunnel leads to cozy mineral water, which remains in the range of 90 degrees. Guests can easily dive, swim or dive into the crater or, for a high experience, even follow a rowing yoga class. Homestead is even the only crater in the world that also offers hot water diving.

The listening is now more than 500 and free range, so drive carefully! Another game includes antelopes with pointed horns and donkey deer. Although the island is surrounded by the salt Salt Lake, there are more than 40 freshwater springs that support the animals of the island. Mountain biking, fly fishing and hiking are just some of the summer activities.

The city is also distinguished by organizing the famous Sundance Film Festival. Utah’s main ski resort, just east of Salt Lake City, is surrounded by beautiful Wasatch Mountains. Less than an hour from downtown Park City Canyons Salt Lake City, Park City feels like a different world. Surrounded by world-class ski areas and unparalleled outdoor recreation, Park City’s historic main street offers shops and restaurants with a view.
